Hi, I’m Nicole.

I’m a Bedford-Stuyvesant based professional and mom of three. I started baking regularly after my children were born, and in time, baking became a creative outlet for me. I started out making biscuits–they’re harder than they look–but realized I had a knack for cookies. Instead of making a cake for my son’s second birthday party, I made trays of little cookies–little cookies for little hands. The cookies were a hit and everyone kept asking ‘Who made these little cookies?’. And, just like that, These Little Cookies was born.

I combine my love of classic and sometimes unexpected flavors to create treats that are fun, fresh, and a little fancy. I use ingredients I grow like fresh herbs, lavender, and raspberries too, which you’ll find in many of my recipes. Many of my cookies and cakes are filled with handcrafted ingredients, such as my curds and jams, which make a TLC cookie a bit more than your average cookie. They’re often the sweet spot at any gathering or, just because.
